TECHNOLOGY
An intelligent rover for sustainable crop protection
At the core of the project is an autonomous, hybrid agricultural rover that integrates:
UV-C lamps
developed to prevent fungal and bacterial infections.
AI and predictive algorithms
for treatments based on weather and agronomic data.
Trailed atomizer
for the targeted application of natural plant protection products.
Night operation
to maximize the effectiveness of UV-C rays.
The rover will be tested in apple and olive orchards, two key Mediterranean crops, with the possibility of future extension to other crops (e.g., strawberries)
